3. Have you ever met a bloggy friend in real life? I have a lot of friends out that blog...but I have never met someone who's blog I read that I do not know.

5. If you could change one thing about your body what would it be? My thighs...ughhhhhhhh

6. How often do you wash your hair? EVERYDAY...it looks disastrous if I don't!!

7. Do you have pets? One dog, Winnie and two goldfish

8. How many social networks do you belong to..if you had to give up one, what would it be? I belong to twitter (although I hardly ever use it, blogger, and facebook. If I had to give up one...it would definitely be twitter!

Birthday recap...a little late!!

Wow....so I just realized that I never posted any pictures from Brayden's birthday party 3 weeks ago!! (bad mommy)...He wanted a Toy Story themed party...well after much searching I was unable to get the whole Toy Store ensemble...but was able to find just Buzz Lightyear although I had to order everything online!!

Uncomfortable???

This is Brayden sleeping during the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics....he looks a little cramped HUH?? Winnie was also asleep...actually everyone was asleep except for ME!! The kiddos were so excited to stay up and watch them on Friday night...but just couldn't make it!

1. Favorite Valentine's candy?
Anything chocolate!!! But Reese's Peanut butter cups would take the cake!!

2. Pink or red?
I am definitely more of a pink kind of girl!!

3. Will you be doing anything to celebrate today?
We took the kiddos out for Breakfast and then to WalMart...oh, we also took the dog to the groomer...yeah, we are hopeless romantics!! :)

4. Do you put up Valentine's decorations?
No...actually, I did not put up any Valentine's Day decorations.

5. What does Valentine's Day mean to you?
A day to acknowledge your loved ones...and another excuse to eat candy!!

6. Would you rather get..flowers, candy, or a night out?
A night out....and thanks to our neighbors on Thursday night, we were able to go out to Red Lobster just the two of us...and it was wonderful!

7. Sexy lingerie or nothing.at.all?

8. Do you say Valentine's Day or Valentime's Day?
Valentine's Day!!!

I have recently been given a VERY cool award from Samantha @ Our Family Journal...She gave me this:

In order to accept the award, I first have to express
where I think my life will be in 10 years...

Wow...in 10 years I will have an almost 16-year-old daughter and a 14-year-old son {two teenagers in my house...oh my!!} I hope that I will have raised my children to be very kind and thoughtful teenagers and not give their teachers, parents, or other elders a hard time! LOL I hope to finally be only working part time and able to continue to do all the extracurricular activities I like to do {including scrapbooking, reading, BLOGGING, etc.} as well as watching my children in their extracurricular activities and at this point in time I am not sure what they are going to be into. Hayley is very much into dancing...but I am not sure if this will be "fun" for more once she is a little older. Brayden will be starting T-Ball later this spring...so maybe I will have a Left-handed pitcher in my future???
I hope to have taken the kiddos to Disney World within the next 10 years...and spend many more wonderful years with my family and friends (including my blogging friends :0) }

TGIF & Pizza Pizza Pizza

So...it is finally Friday!! Although, I have only worked 2 1/2 days this week due to the snowapocalypse that reeked havoc on PA last weekend and then again Tuesday afternoon until Wednesday night. In our local newspaper today it said that our area (Hanover, PA) has had 51" of snow already for 2010....OMG!! That is a lot!! The snow is beginning to melt a little as the measuring stick we had in the front yard (that was completely covered by approximately 3PM on Wednesday afternoon....has again surfaced stating that we now have about 28" in the front yard.

My kiddos are PIZZA EATERS!!! Our WONDERFUL neighbors watched them yesterday for a little while Scott and I were able to go out for an...I need to get out of the house or I am going to scream dinner...which we were very thankful for!! At their house, they bought the kiddos pizza (they also have a 5 and a 2-year-old). When we got home to pick them up we were told, "Man, can your kids put down some pizza!!"...and that they can.
Unfortunately or fortunately for them I was planning on making homemade pizza for dinner tonight. I have been trying to perfect my very own homemade pizza dough (which I have yet to do). This time I decided to try a whole wheat pizza dough (made in my bread maker of course) with Italian seasonings in it....Well, with Scott out to get new tires on my car (YEAH!!!) It was just me and the kiddos here...so I made their pizza. They requested a square pizza and I obliged. I would have to say that the crust was VERY good...normally it just taste like cardboard....but with the whole wheat...it was YUMMY! Here are some pics of my kiddos stuffing their faces!!




Here isthe doomed pizza...they had already eaten 5 slices prior to me taking the picture! So of the 15 pieces....there are now 3 left!!! Can you say Pizza Eaters???


I am not sure what the rest of the weekend has in store?? Probably a boring trip to the grocery store and possibly some Wii playing! The kiddos are very excited about the Opening Ceremonies fro the Winter Olympics tonight, which I have very happy for because I LOVE to watch the Olympics!!

More Snow

Wow!! Can you believe that we are expecting another BIG snow storm in less than one week....and as of now 8PM EST we already have 6 inches and it is supposed to continue to snow until tomorrow evening....when it is all said and done we could get an additional 12-18 inches on top of the 24 we got on Saturday!! Have I ever mentioned that I am not a big fan of snow!!! Here is a picture I took at 7:30 tonight...not that the top of the chiminea was completely snow free when the snow began...

I think we are in for a LONG day tomorrow. I already know that I do not have to work!! YEAH...so it will be a sleep in LAZY day at the Marsh household!! Are you expecting any snow where you are at??

1. How many piercing's do you have?

Currently 5 piercings but only in my ears (3 in one and 2 in the other)...back in the day I had a piercing in my cartilage at the top of my ear. I also had my belly button pierced...two separate times but no longer have that either.

2. I love the sound of.....?
raindrops on the roof while you are trying to fall asleep and children laughing

3. Favorite city?
Since I do not travel very much...my favorite city would be hmmmmm..I guess New York City (although there would be no WAY in the world I could live there!!

4. Colts, Saints, or could care less?
We are not fans of either team...but since my FIL is a BIG Colts fan....this is who we will be cheering for tonight

5. Frozen yogurt or ice cream?
Ice cream!!!!!!!!!!!

6. Favorite appetizer?
Buffalo Chicken Dip

7. What item in your closet currently makes you the happiest?
That wouldn't be any of my clothes...but my brand new Spring 2010 Coach purse that I received for 15 years of service at my place of employment.

So the weatherman was right....we currently have a "bunch" of snow out there and it is still coming down....good day to stay inside and eat...since I have plenty of food as I blogged about here

....well it is a TINY garage...so we use it for storage instead of housing the car.....works well in the spring, summer, and fall....but not in the winter when we are in the middle of a Blizzard.....

1. What are you most afraid of?

Not being around to see my kids grow up :( Although, I am not afraid of death itself (I guess) I am more afraid of leaving my kids & family and how they would feel when I was gone....wow, now on to a happier question!! :)

2. Do you use a flat iron or curling iron?

I use a curling iron....but after reading all of the posts...maybe I should try a flat iron???

3. Hands-free or phone to the ear?

Phone to ear...which can sometimes be tricky with the cell phone...since my ear sometimes disconnects me....I do not have one of the blue tooth thingys...but would probably like it if I did!!

4. Do you have a matching bedroom set?

Yes, we do!! But it was not purchased until about 7 years after we were married. Actually our bedroom suit...and the crib and dresser we bought 6 1/2 years ago before our daughter was born would be the only furniture we actually bought...everything else is hand me downs!!!

5. Do you believe in the paranormal?

I believe it could be a possibility; although, I have never had any type of experience with it. So I really cannot truthfully answer this question.

A trip to the doctors office................

Saturday was Brayden's b-day party (post to come with pics soon)...and we had MANY people and other kiddos running through the house. Yesterday, our neighbor (who was at the party with his two kiddos) came to the front door and handed my husband a six pack of beer and said,

Neighbor. "I'm Sorry!"

Scott: "For what?"

Neighbor: "Well, E went to the Dr today and he has strep!!"

Scott: Oh, I see...That explains it.

Well, on Sunday, Hayley was complaining of a cough and a sore throat…but I thought the sore throat was more than likely coming from her forced cough. So…today we took both kiddos to the doctor due have them checked out…since we knew they had more than likely been exposed to strep. Hayley saw Dr. V first. The **note** as we were leaving for the Doctors office Hayley says, “Mom, we forgot to brush our teeth after breakfast”. I said, “well, just remember to do so when you get home”. So…back to the appointment. Dr. V looks at Hayley's throat and says (mind you the child had a Hot Fudge Sundae PopTart for breakfast) and said to me:

Dr. V: "Looks like Hayley is starting to get a cavity. Have you been to the dentist lately?"

Me: Yes, we were just there 2 weeks ago and they didn't say anything." Ohhhhhh...noooo...I think that is just her PopTart from this morning...she told me she forgot to brush her teeth!!

Dr. V: "Ok...yeah, it does look like breakfast." (ha ha ha)

Then we find out that Hayley's rapid strep came back negative...so they will send it to the lab and will call us in the next two days if it becomes positive...so Hayley only has the "classic cold"...nothing more.

Well, then we get to Brayden, who has had a cough for the past 2 1/2 weeks but I didn't bother to schedule an appointment for him since he has a cough due to his allergies just about all the time. Dr. V looks in his nose.....yucky stuff in there....Dr. V listens to his chest.....he is rattling!!! Aghhhhhh...Well, Brayden has a sinus infection and bronchitis......so I get Mother of the Year since the only reason I took both kiddos to the doctor today was because Hayley was complaining of a sore throat and the neighbor boy had strep!!!

But at least...now Brayden has an antibiotic...and will hopefully get better within the next two days!

Oh...and then my sister calls to tell me my little niece also has strep!!! When is it going to spring?????
