Tonight I decided to make a new recipe that I found on a fellow blogging friend blog {Thanks Fiona!!} The recipe calls for Kielbasa...which I normally have Hillshire Farms smoked sausage or Kielbasa in my freezer at all times. Normally when I decide to make sausage or Kielbasa, I always make it with Kraft Deluxe macaroni and cheese {yummo!!} and stewed or diced tomatoes. Fiona's recipe looked very easy....and would put a new "twist" on sausage/Kielbasa.
Here is the recipe:
8 oz egg noodles, uncooked
1 lb Kielbasa cut up
1 onion sliced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 soup can of milk
1 cup frozen peas or green beans ( I used green beans)
1/8 tsp. pepper
Cook Noodles according to package directions.
In a large skillet, cook kielbasa and onion. If it gets fatty - spoon off the fat.
Add the soup, stir. When incorporated, add the milk.
Add pepper and peas or green beans. Heat to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Drain noodles and add to skillet. Heat for another 2 minutes and BAM! Dinner. I think it took about 20 minutes and it was really tasty! Enjoy friends! inks post-comment-link">
This may not look all that appetizing on the plate...but it was a delicious variation for sausage!! I will definitely be making this again....thanks again Fiona!!
